BEYOND A TRADITIONAL DETECTIVE AGENCY

Why Clients Choose Us

Global Detective Network in 80+ Countries

Partner agencies in every key market (CIS, Europe, APAC, USA). We gather documents and testimony on the ground—no middlemen, no language barriers.

OSINT & Analytics Division

Unlike traditional detective agencies that rely primarily on fieldwork, we combine investigative operations with advanced analytical work. Our analysts reconstruct the full picture by examining digital footprints, data patterns, and hidden connections.

A Project-Based Approach, Not Off-the-Shelf Services

For every assignment, we assemble a dedicated project team and develop a tailored investigative strategy. Clients work through a single point of contact and receive clear, structured reporting — without unnecessary bureaucracy.

Proactive Risk Protection, Not Just Reactive Response

We create early-warning systems: monitor mentions, analyse leaks, screen staff—safeguarding your money and reputation before trouble strikes.

Technology as a Tool, Not a Buzzword

We develop proprietary investigative tools and integrate automation, artificial intelligence, and advanced OSINT capabilities into our work. Modern threats require modern investigative solutions.

Court-Ready Evidence

Reports are prepared to forensic standards, shortening the path from investigation to recovery. You receive solid proof, not just internet screenshots.

About the Agency

Panther Private Investigations Agency has been operating since 2020 and specializes in private and corporate investigations, information gathering and analysis, digital footprint work, cross-border matters, and international asset tracing.

In addition to operating within Russia, the agency handles assignments involving foreign jurisdictions, including international asset tracing, foreign company due diligence, and other investigations that require a combination of analytical work, local knowledge, and trusted partner cooperation outside the country.

The agency is led by Alexey Sedykh, a retired police major, licensed private investigator, and member of the Association of Russian Detectives and the International Association of Private Detectives. In 2023, he was named Detective of the Year in the Business Economic Security category.

The team includes former operational officers and analysts specializing in information gathering and analysis, open-source intelligence, digital footprint work, and the identification of hidden connections.

We do not view an investigation as a collection of isolated measures, but as a decision-making tool. For that reason, we structure our work so that the result has practical value for businesses, legal advisers, and private clients.

Руководитель детективного агентства "Пантера"

Beware of scammers! How to check the reliability of a detective before ordering?

Detective activity in the Russian Federation is a licensed activity. Check the availability of a private detective license before starting work.

The head of the detective agency “Panther” is a licensed private detective Sedych Alexey Ivanovich. You can easily see if we are licensed by going to link to the website of the Russian Federal Guard of the Russian Federation. In the search bar, enter the detective's last name or TIN.

Check license

In accordance with the current legislation, a private detective is an individual entrepreneur who carries out this activity as the main activity (part 3 of article 7 of Law of the Russian Federation of 11.03.1992 № 2487-1 “On private detective and security activities in the Russian Federation”).

Code of the main type of activity in accordance with OKVED classifier - 80.30 (investigation activities).

Check OKVED

Check the agency's phone number in the GetContact and NumBuster apps. This is free of charge. This way you will accomplish two things: first, make sure that there is no negative information about the prospective service provider; second, make sure that he is really a private investigator, and not a cab driver who decided that he can do detective work.

More about the agency

Everyone knows that positive reviews can be easily faked, but there are 2 important nuances that you should keep in mind: first - the absence of negative reviews in the presence of neutral and positive - this is a good sign, because it is very difficult, and often impossible to remove negative reviews in the services of the same “Yandex”.

Second - pay attention to the content of reviews, their frequency and period of publication. This will help you identify a “one-day” company.

Feedback from our customers

A final point that is less relevant to vetting a potential performer for the role of detective. But it is important at the stage of communication with him. If in the course of a telephone conversation you are told that the contract in view of the specifics of the order is not concluded or (even worse) private detective is not ready for a personal meeting or video call, with a high probability in front of you a fraudster.

Our agency concludes a contract on the provision of detective services with each client.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to typical questions from our clients that you should research before contacting an agency so you don't waste either your time or ours.

  • What services we do NOT provide

    1. We do not engage in the unlawful collection of personal data, including phone numbers, addresses, photographs, or other information relating to private individuals.
    2. We do not accept assignments that involve questionable, bad-faith, or unlawful objectives.
    3. We do not work with anonymous clients.
    4. We do not assist in obtaining call detail records, intercepting communications, or compromising accounts on social media platforms or messaging services.
    5. We do not accept assignments involving military personnel, law enforcement or security service personnel, or their family members.
    6. Under no circumstances do we provide information on Russian citizens to foreign clients.

  • How We Work

    1. We verify the client’s identity and the purpose of the request.
    2. We conduct a legal and ethical assessment of the assignment and determine whether it can be carried out.
    3. We work exclusively through lawful methods and verifiable sources, while maintaining confidentiality and honoring our contractual obligations.
    4. We deliver the result in a format suitable for managerial and legal decision-making.
    5. We decline assignments that conflict with the law, professional ethics, or our principles of work.

  • What guarantees do you provide?

The foundation of trust in our work is openness, lawful operation, and professional reputation. The agency operates on a legal basis and under formal service agreements for private investigative work. The status and registration details of the private detective can be verified through public sources using the relevant tax or registration numbers.

We do not make unrealistic promises and do not guarantee outcomes where the result objectively depends on external factors. What we do guarantee is professional work carried out within the law, confidentiality, transparent communication, and a clear framework for working with the client.

At any stage of the assignment, the client can understand the current status of the work and request interim information on the matter. If necessary, services may be terminated early, with fees recalculated based on the work actually performed.

  • What if the service you need is not on the website?

The website outlines our main areas of practice, but it does not cover every possible type of assignment. In practice, many matters require an individual combination of investigative, analytical, and intelligence-based services.

If your request is not described on the site directly, this does not mean we cannot assist. Following an initial discussion, we will assess the matter and advise whether we can be of practical help.

  • Can the information obtained be used in a court of law?

In certain cases, yes. Information obtained through a private investigation may be relevant to a legal dispute and used in preparing a legal position, identifying evidence, locating witnesses, documents, assets, and other facts material to the case.

If litigation is being considered from the outset, this should be communicated at the initial stage. Collecting information for potential court use requires a different approach to documenting facts, recording sources, and structuring the final report.

In such matters, we organize our work with future interaction in mind — whether with legal counsel, law enforcement authorities, or the court.

  • How confidential is your work?

Confidentiality is one of the core principles of our work. We do not disclose the fact of a client’s engagement, the substance of the assignment, or the information obtained in the course of our work to third parties, except where required by law or under contractual obligations.

To protect our clients’ interests, we organize each matter in a way that minimizes the risk of disclosure: communications are handled individually, access to project materials is restricted, and secure methods of data storage and transfer are used.

  • Where are you located? How can I meet you?

The agency’s principal is based in Kaliningrad. In-person meetings can also be arranged in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, and Omsk through our representatives.

Most assignments involving information gathering and analysis can be handled remotely, which allows us to work with clients across Russia and internationally.

If needed, we are also available for an initial discussion by video call.

  • In what form will I receive the result of my work?

Depending on the nature of the assignment, the result is delivered as a final PDF document. This may take one of the following forms:

    1. brief report — where a concise summary of the key findings is sufficient;
    2. detailed report — where the assignment requires greater depth, supporting detail, and source-based context;
    3. analytical report — where the matter calls for deeper analysis, data correlation, and, where appropriate, link analysis or visual mapping of relationships.

The format is selected based on the nature of the assignment and the intended use of the information obtained.
